What's new

What are the better economical shave mugs these days?

If you are in the USA, and you go to garage/estate sales, resale shops, antique stores/malls, and flea markets… you could set a pretty low limit (say $4-5) and still find tons of Old Spice and other vintage mugs and scuttles.

I bought my first one a month ago… and I am already up to 5.

Here are 4 of the five. The fifth has Arko in it, and is often seen in the “what razor/blade” thread.

This item may not be what you intended, but I am loving a travel pet water bowl I got at Dollar Tree. It has no texture, but the 'accordion' effect may lend to rich lather.

I've been using it lately more than my textured ceramic bowl.

Huge insight in this thread! I been using a plastic bowl I picked up at target some years back with decent success. Truth be told I do scour the thrifts every now and then for a gimmicky mug feels just right.
