Wapienica scales?

Looking for some scales to replace the steel on Wapi razors. My own efforts making scales are so far lacking. Looking for some affordable basic production scales that just need one pin to fit. I can peen, quite badly.

You can find scales on Maggards Razors and I think Griffith has some too.

Why do you want to replace the stainless steel scales?

I ask because I own a Wapienica and, yes, the stainless steel scales are heavy, but they also contribute to the razor's charm.

I don’t find the balance when in use as charming as the look of the stainless. I bought ten years ago when they could be found for peanuts.

Being an 11/16s razor, my question should probably be, do stock 5/8 or stock 6/8 fit the wapienica better? I was looking at the cheap, translucent revisor scales.
