Loves a smelly brush
I've used them all and I always get my best lathers with my Semogue 610, so boar it is. After that would be badger, synthetic, and horse in that order. Badger is VERY close but the boar is more efficient in my use.

I like the Badger brush, I personally haven't used the boar brush, but I did pick one up in Rite-aid, want happy with the boar
badger...soft, flexible, makes better lathers quicker.
Im afraid I cant pick between boar and a badger. I use the badger for bowl lathering and the boar for face lathering if I havnt shaved for a couple of day...... Nope cant pick im afraid.

I like them all. Just a matter of braking them in.
I'm a synth guy. My Kent Infinity performs way better (for me) than any brush in its price class.

Whatever works for you will be your favorite. That being said, a well broken Semogue boar is my favorite.
Badger for me. It's all I ever use. I have a few boar brushes, but they never get used. I'm saving them for anyone I convert to DE.

Badger, no question. I'm a lover of both the extra soft Silvertip and slightly stiffer Super grade of hair.

Dang it! In order to be fair, now I have to pick up my finest badger again just to see if my tastes have changed!

I enjoy using all types of brushes all the types of brushes are great performers for me. My preference is a boar.
