Valet AutoStrop ?

Hi all, Just won this on the bay. Can someone tell me about this Razor. Looks like I have to modify Blades for this to work

That one will use Valet blades, Feather blades, or modified SE blades.

There's a You-Tube video on how to mod the SE blades.

Maybe someone can post a link for you... I can't right now; I'm on the mobile site viewing.

You got lucky because that appears to be in great shape and you got a great deal. I have a few Auto Strops and I don't like the Feather blades (I have both the carbon steel and stainless steel). The Valet blades to me are slightly better. I haven't gotten around to modifying a GEM blade yet but I am tempted. If you do a google search you will find the complete instructions on how to modify a GEM blade on B&B's website (easier to use Google search than B&B's search).

Hi all, Well I received the Valet Auto Strop Razor today and see that one of the Blade clips broke off. I guess I have to chalk that up for a loss. Now I see it in the Picture. Damn!

I really hate when the sellers don't point out the problems, and you have to analyze photos carefully yourself.

I had a Super Speed that I missed an end cap missing in a poorly taken photo.

Now I look at the photos so closely that it gives me a headache.

Once bit, twice shy.

Yeah, snapped front clip. I have one just like this and ... you know what? It doesn't matter. Just drop a Feather in there and enjoy the shave.
