Yesterday's shave was only okay. I had 2 days growth and my US Gillette Fat Tech with a new Bolzano blade kind of pulled a bit in places resulting in a couple of weepers. I think the blade alignment was slightly off. I have noticed that the blades are not fully engaged with the blocks in the head, unlike in my Muhle R89 or Feather ASD2. Any tips to getting this right?

Pre: Fitjar's Nyasha Black pre-shave soap
Razor: US Gillette Fat Tech ('38-'45) replated in Black Chrome and mounted on a Shave Craft BullDog SS handle also in Black Chrome

Day 2-Tuesday-Stirling “7’s” Week
7 Days: 7 Stirling Soaps, 7 Brushes, 7 Razors, 7 Blades, 7 Aftershaves

Prep: Hot Shower-Stirling Scots Pine Bath Soap
Soap: Stirling Ozark Mountain
Razor: Gillette 40’s Style Superspeed
Blade: Rapira Platinum Lux (1)
Brush: Lord Chesterfield/Carrington 3-Band Synthetic
Aftershave: Tabac EdC

WTG-XTG-ATG (adjusted angle for my beard a bit)

My second “7’s” Shave: 7 Days, 7 Razors, 7 Blades, 7 Stirling Soaps, 7 Brushes. Stirling Ozark Mountain (love the scent) maintains a permanent place in my Den. I quickly got a great lather with the Chesterfield brush. The 40’s Style Superspeed and Rapira PL match up well. The Rapira PL edges out the Rapira Swedish Supersteel by a whisker for me. Great shave: smooth, close, nick free! I finished up today with Tabac EdC.

Bill...as someone described elsewhere...maybe a Floral Melon fragrance. It had great staying power. I can see why it might have a polarizing effect on a person or those around. It reminded me of a 2nd cousin to Musgo Real traditional aftershave splash the way it went on immediately after the shave. It isn't an everyday scent for me but I think it will prove to be an occasional "pick me up"
Mike what's your impression of the camaldoli

I liked it well enough but my wife was not a fan of the scent
