Sunday....cold and sleet today...

Plisson 16 HMW | Czech & Speake No. 88 soap
Feather SS with Crystal
Thayer's Original witch hazel | Clinique Post-Shave Healer
Le Labo Rose 31

The Thayer's Original could qualify for my "one and only" aftershave...an unobtrusive fragrance and 10% alcohol for a mild astringent effect.

Razor: #66
Blade: Astra (2)
Brush: Semogue 620
Cream: Vintage Blades Herbal Citrus (sample)
A/S: Alum block, Alt-Innsbruck (sample)

Finished both samples :001_smile I like them both, but have way too much in the shave den to justify buying them.

Just to buzz in :001_smile

For me, Nanny's soaps are the closest to MWF I have experienced yet.
However, you can not get a thick meringue or whipped cream lather with these soaps.
To me that doesn't matter at all, it is the performance and protection that matters, and it is great IMO.

I lather up like with any other soap, just don't expect it to explode and beware of the water content it is easy to get it too watery. Even though it doesn't seem like it, your brush will hold enough lather for 3-4 passes.

I used Nanny's today, and the small P20 held enough for four passes.

I agree with you Soeren. But I wouldn't compare Nanny's soaps to da Fat. They're good products, lather well and offer a very nice shave, but IMO they're not as dense and creamy.
