Thanks for your kind words, cyclefix. At first I was not sure about spending that much money for a stand, but after pondering the issue for a while I finally decided that my quality ATT razor deserved a well crafted and solid piece of superb ATT engineering to reside in during its off duty hours. Beauty and function...it's a win-win.

How long have you had your Kronos S1?

I've had the S1 since this past June. I've rarely touched another razor since. It's truly incredible.

Now I'm debating getting the S2 and stand based on all the positives mentioned on B&B and your pics... but I've got bad AD and bought 3 Shavemacs just last month, not including soaps, balms, creams, blades, etc. If SWMBO knows this, I'm dead. But damn the S2 + stand would fit nicely in my shave den. I'm gonna be in trouble!

Getting Ready to Go Back Home​

I am getting ready to go back home and, as usual, before leaving, it is good to shave. I used this Mastro Livi "the last new grind" as it has been the straight razor I took with me in this business trip. I also took with me my shaving soap, bay rum and pre-shave oil, therefore having what I call "a RazorGuy shave". My shaving soap proves to be, once again, a super performing soap, providing a very good cushion to the straight razor as well as a very good post shave sensation. A splash of my Bay Rum aftershave and I am ready to pack and leave.​

Ozark might have just topped my favorite winter scent list now. Wow! Also had the closest shave yet with a Kai blade. The 24mm Finest keeps getting better and better as she's breaking in. Can't wait to see where it's at in a month or so.
