Can't take the music, but what an outstanding recording. Her CD's are an audiophile's dream. Still can't figure out how she's married to Elvis Costello.

Germanic shave-

Shavemac 177
Merkur slant with IP (Right, I'll use a Merkur blade. That's a good one.)
Taylor avocado, old formula
Speick a/s

Music: Edith Piaf - L'Integrale
Beverage: Espresso Piemonte - 4 shot latte :w00t:

VP Pure Badger
C&E Sweet Almond Oil
Dovo 6/8 "Saturday" Spike (2 Passes)
Kiebitz 4/8 cutoff (Touchup and Detailing)
Aqua Velva Ice Blue
Nivea ASB

I suppose the two Solingen straights count for Germania week. I was itching to use one of my wedges, but I have no german ones. Oh well, there's always next week.

... SNIP...

Only in small doses and when in the correct frame of mind. I was playing it in the Den which has an Onkyo DS989 Reciever and 5 Klipsch speakers, 4 of which are the original 1980's Chorus's with a 15" woofer and 42" folded horn. I can walk into that room and disappear with a recording like this. :thumbup1:

I'd advise against feeding them more than 1 Watt.

Good Morning Everyone:

My set up for the week is:

Olive oil soap, brand unknown, as a preshave
Palmolive Green
Gillette copper and brass Tech from the late 30's, (I think)
Dickinson's Witch Hazel
Dominica Bay Rum
Cornhusker's
SCS B&B Bay Rum with a Twist

Nothing Germanic here, but my skin is smooth as can be and I smell great. We may actually be in for a dry week here in Houston and I will see if I am getting a new customer this week after seemingly just banging my head against the wall last week. Ah, life is good.

Merkur HD-IP
SR-3120
D R Harris Lavender SS
Booster Polar Ice
L'Occitane L'Occitan ASB
L'Occitane Eau de L'Occitan EDT

Aside from the Razor, I was the only other German in there...tomorrow there will be Tabac.

I keep the power level down!

The scary part is the Onkyo has 7 - 130 watt amps!

I don't have my reference system any more. I used to run 2 Klipschorns off A McIntosh MC275 Tube Amp. It got a little TOO loud.

With a sensitivty of >100dB @1W, you don't need much to drive a pair of Klipsch, or any other horns, for that matter. Now for Maggies..........

   Excellent, old boy, excellent.

Come on, where are our German brethren of the blade (and Italian (furex) and Japanese (papasmurf:confused: ))? Melden Sie sich! Sofort.

Btw, went to my local supermarket today to see if I could lay my hands on a bowl of Tabac. They were out, only the shave stick, a refill for the stick, but no pucks or bowls. They did have the aftershave though, but only in 100 ml.
