RIP Carl Weathers

Carl Weathers who played Apollo Creed in the Rocky films passed peacefully in his sleep February 1st. He was 76.
A versatile actor who could do comedy as effectively as drama.
His work included Predator, Happy Gilmore, and The Mandalorian series.

A great actor in some blockbuster movies. He worked with Stallone and Arnold.

He was hilarious in Arrested Development too. He played himself and would do anything for a free lunch etc

I was leaving a restaurant in Chicago and bumped into Weather's coming out of a makeup trailer to shoot Chicago Justice. I am 6'2" and 300 pounds and I felt like a midget next to him.

There is a scene in Rocky 3 where Clubber Lang (Mr. T) disrespected Apollo Creed. My friends and I all maintain that Apollo Creed, at that moment, could've felled him with a single punch.
