The family of Bram Moolenaar, creator and BDFL of Vim, the mightiest of the Unix text editors, have announced that he passed away on August 3, 2023.
Not only an extremely talented technologist, but also someone who cared deeply about others, and did not try and leverage his positon for cash or fame, but rather to help those less fortunate than himself.
