I used to irritate my wife and kids. I worked at a daily newspaper for many years and would use the funny papers to wrap presents.

Today people do not know this lost art. Gift Bags are the thing.

Throw gift in bag, cover with tissue

Now this ... this is one of them occasions where a gifter's not doing it right. I mean, he found him a bag that he likes ... but you can't make a bag look just right. And when it all boils down, you gonna find in the end ... tissue's just paper but a bow's a man's best friend.

The best wrapping is old-school wrapping.

My brother does this. Pretty colours, just gonna rip it off anyway. Plus he's cheap. Thrifty. Whatever.

I used to work as a wrapper. Briefly. I'm good but I'm not fast. I love to find lovely papers for wrapping -- harder to do now.
