Rebranded Shaving Soaps

From my experience there's a lot of rebranding of product on the market. Only a few manufacturers make products for the entire market of certain items.

I've heard/read that:
RazorRock - many soaps are made by Tcheon Fung Sing (TFS) in Italy
Kent - made by MWF in UK
Maggards - made by Through the Fire Fine Craft in Michigan

Are there other rebranded soaps?

Wet Shaving Club was Taconic (looks like a new supplier)
Yaqi is Master Soap Creations
CO Bigelow is Proraso green

doesn't West Coast Shaving = Oleo?
I don't recall who is making Fine

Well, TBCH, my experience is different from yours.
I really don't see a "lot of rebranding" of shave soaps.
Perhaps it could be called 'contract manufacturing'.
I'd call 'rebranding' if it's same formula/scent, just different label/brand.

Yes, Valobra made shave soaps for Art of Shaving for several years; really not simple 'rebranding'.
Yes, Razorock Joe gets soaps from Italy, again, with custom fragrance and forumations.
In the UK, Bronnley made shave soaps for DRH and others, each with custom formulas and scents.
Also, Creightons in the UK made shave creams for many of the UK brands, each with custom scents.
For most of these, I wouldn't label them 'rebranding', rather 'custom manufacturing'.

Just my 2c, FWIW!

Spot on.

Another industry term that may apply is private label.

Yeah, I work for a carpet company and we pattern carpet for a few different companies that label it and sell it for their own, but we make it to their specs. Our products can be quite different since we produce our stuff to different standards.

There’s actually 3 different artisans who do private label soaps for WCS now:
- the duck fat ones are by Oleo/Chicago Grooming Co
- the jojoba shave cream/soap ones are made by Catie’s Bubbles
- the other ones are made by A&E, not sure how to list them but they have an American flag on the label
