Really BIG straight razors

I think this one is the biggest I have. About 9/8.
Nothing practical about it.
But then again, for those who favor ease and practicality, there is that thing called electric razor.

Having just given that dutch rattler thevfirst go, it honestly handles no less easily than a small blade. It's all grind and profile. You can use all the edge or you can be really delicate with it because of the swoop. Since isn't a wedge you get a fair bit of feedback as well.

I don't think anyone has a larger straight than mine.
It is 13/8 half-hollow square point (unmuted) made by ArtRazor Company.

Let me disabuse you of that notion:
This is a 14/8+, nearly 15/8, which I made for a customer. I should have a pic somewhere with the scales attached but don't have it available atm. It looks proportionate because it's also 4.25" long iirc and a bit under .5" thick at the spine. It's massive.

I have seen some simply massive old Sheffields but I don’t know who has them now. I do remember they posted in a thread around 2012 -2014 but it may be lost now after the Forum changed. I think they were Joseph Rodgers or anchor stamped.
