Question on the Lamy Safari Mechanical Pencil

I'm making up my Christmas wish list which includes a Lamy Safari mechanical pencil. Does the Lamy use regular leads such as the Pentel .5mm available at most office supply stores, or does it require special leads?

Never mind. It looks like it takes your standard .5mm leads.

Have you checked out the Kuru-Toga line? I have the metal one and picked up a plastic one for my niece.
