Proraso: Great lather, numb face

Tried it again, without mixing it with other creams, to see if I could get used to it. It was just as awful as before. I felt like I was having a fever. Still, I love the creamy lather... it's really nice, I ended up making way too much again. I certainly don't regret my purchase because I think it will mix nicely (though I haven't tried it yet). I also don't like the smell too much.

Interesting...is this the same experience for the Proraso soap? Think that has the same ingredients as well...

I have been using Proraso for the past couple days (great lather by the way), it does feel cool on my face but I don't have an issue with that and it's been really cold in these parts relatively speaking for the past few weeks.

I find the JMFraser a more pleasant cooling experience. Proraso/Bigelow was a little much for my skin. I do however go back every few months to confirm it's not for me.

The more soaps & creams I try, the more I keep coming back to thinking that Proraso is my favorite.
