Trial: TOBS Sandalwood

The initial-smell test was promising, but once I lathered with the Sandalwood, the fragrance quickly felt "synthetic" and too strong. Performance from a shaving perspective seemed great. The second shave, tomorrow, will tell me more. My Monday morning shaves are always my best since I have the weekend stubble to cut through, which seems softer than just a days growth (I shave daily M-F). I'll use the TOBS Sandalwood again tomorrow and report back on performance.

The net is that it's probably not a fragrance that will work for me.

Trial: TOBS Sandalwood

I used TOBS Sandalwood again this morning and the performance was wonderful. The lather really softened my stubble and provided a wonderful glide and smooth results. The fragrance does not do the trick for me however. It's far too strong/synthetic once you really lather it up, at least to my nose. As always, YMMV.
