Tonight I tried SH again. This time I used the old loading technique that Mr. Jansen of Ye Old Pipe Shoppe showed me a long time ago: take up a big pinch of the leaf between thumb and forefinger and twist it gently into the bowl. It was not a very big pinch, and the Dublin I smoked it in is not a large pipe by any means. But I got about 25 minutes' pleasant after-dinner smoke out of it.
