If you choose to move on from canned goo and go to a brush and soap, I’d recommend a synthetic brush as some others have. I find it’s easier to build lather with a synthetic and it also doesn’t require as much soap as natural hair brushes. I don’t know why, but natural hair really soaks up the lather.
Also, the 34c is a very good razor. I’d stick with it exclusively for at least 6 months unless you run into problems you can’t solve. In which case, head over to the DE razor forum and ask for some advice. You’ll get wonderful help from the members here.
