Today, my Lord L122 was delivered. It included a plastic OC baseplate and a Lord Super Chrome blade. I was under the impression it was shipped to my workplace, but it wasn't. As I relaxed in the living room, my wife brought it inside from the mailbox. She handed it to me and suggested I compare it with my collection of shaving items in the closet and contemplate, "Am I obsessed?" Meanwhile, the packaging cheerfully proclaims, "Make shaving fun!"

It's from the DOC original nickel-plated razor from Phoenix Accoutrements. I only used it for a week years ago. It was to mild for my taste.

I refined an already ideal set-up for a delightful shave, opting for my unobtainium Valobra Patchouli soap. The soap lived up to expectations, delivering a delightful Patchouli scent. I regret not having stocked up more. Now, it's time to savor it.

This was a nice shave. The Lord L122 shaves just like a Tech. Someone said. "Why buy the Lord L122 when you can buy a used Tech?" I say, "Why buy a used Tech when you can buy a new L122?" It's a nice comfortable smooth razor. I got an acceptable shave as you'd expect.
