My Guess... 3017

Still rolling along with the Barrister & Mann Fougere Aromatique vegan. I am about 20 shaves in, the scent is still as strong as when I first opened the plastic container. Very green and fresh. Using less of this product than RazoRock, averaging about 2g per shave. I have been primarily face lathering with various boars. It works well loading with the Marco method but the last several shaves I have loaded a lightly squeezed and twice shaken brush for 30 seconds. Then added a few drops of water to the brush and lathered on my wet face. The lather builds quickly, sometimes I have to add a couple more drops of warm water to the brush. 30 second load gives ample lather for 4 passes. I have had zero irritation from this soap and a very nice after-shave feel.

I liked this soap out of the gate and am growing more fond of it each shave. I mentioned yesterday I am toying with the idea of hitting a brick of Cella for 2015. Soaps like B&M are going to make it an easy decision....to PIF most of the Cella and continue trying these fantastic artisans.

My journey to use it up:
3/24/14--4/18/14 - Stirling Barbershop
4/19/14--5/10/14 - Godrej Cool Menthol
5/11/14--5/14/14 - Stirling Glacial Wintergreen (sample puck)
5/15/14--5/16-14 - homemade bay rum soap sample
5/17/14--5/21/14 - TSD SubZero sample
5/22/14--7/05/14 - Tiki Set Sail
7/06/14--8/14/14 - Stirling Spice
8/15/14--8/16/14 Saint James Mandarin & Patchouli cream dropped due to reaction. Revisit after outdoor freeze.
8/17/4--8/21/14 - St. Charles Shave SCS blend sample - easy to lather.
8/22/14--? IanS soap works. Artisan soap from a hobbyist here on B&B.

I might be with you on that, but there's a part of me that wants to do a full tub of JM Frasers.

That's a lovely cream to 3017. Even the 450ml tubs should go fairly quick too. It is tough to use less than 3ml per shave. A very slick cream, which makes it a good option for soap guys.

Decided to go with the Coates Lime cream. It's a smaller tube and has been used half a dozen times, so will probably only last a few weeks.

My sample of Stirling Blu bit the dust tonight. At 52g, it was a fairly generous sample size. I received 21 fantastic shaves which equates to ~2.5g per shave. I am going to burn up another sample - Stirling Sport - in order to free up the glass container

Choose for me please : Speick stick or Razorock XX?
I used both this week, got decent enough lathers from each, but need to 3017 to get to the next level.
