Ming Shi blade.

Hello,

I have had a tuck of Ming Shi blades for almost 5 years and never had given them a chance.

Today I tried them in my new Karve Overlander. At first it seemed that the blade wasn't that rigid, but I got a very nice shave. I don't know how many shaves will I get from a blade, but I am convinced that we should give some chance to any blade. I think all of them if we are careful, will do the job.

Well said. I think some of us have preconceived ideas of how certain blades will perform. At least I do! And after trying nearly 200 blades this past year I've learned that there are a lot of really good blades out there that probably very few know about.

Looks like some guys tried the Ming Shi blades back in 2018.

I had a tuck of those blade thrown in as a freebie in an order, haven't tried them yet

Had the second shave. Nice shave although the blade has become a bit dull. I will try to push this blade up to 5 - 6 shaves (a week) and see if it is up to the task.

Definitely it is an acceptable blade for 2 shaves for me.
