That's interesting. Do you have any info. on Charles Arthur? My Grandma (Dad's Mom) had the maiden last name of Floyd. Granddad and Grandma always lived on a farm not too far from Pryor, OK in Mayes County. My uncle has a third generation ranch outside of Inola, Rogers County, but he's getting along in years now and my cousin pretty much runs it.

I live in Rogers County, Oklahoma.

Been to Pryor and Inola many times.

I was actually raised though in the hills of Cherokee County.

I don't have any information other than what is readily accessible on the net.

Since Private Detectives and Bounty Hunters came up...here's another kind of obscure character from the Old West...Charlie Siringo.

Looks like he carried the ubiquitous Colt Peacemaker...at least in the photos.

Kind of an interesting guy...worked for the Pinkerton Detective Agency for a lot of years and was after Butch Cassidy, and apparently had contact with Tom Horn. Seems like after working for the Pinkerton's he wasn't real thrilled with their organization. He wrote a few books; I may just pick up one to see what it's all about.
