Ordered a ++ base to check out. I’m liking the + but I could stand a tad more efficiency. I also ordered a ++ Vestige to add to the stable.

What is the machined finish like?
I've posted several pictures of my Machine Finish La Faulx in this thread. It is a very nice finish with no visible machining marks.

Wally, I sure hope you love it as much as most of us do..... As you know, I have some pretty nice razors and enjoy every one of them.... But as I keep repeating... I think the La Faulx, both the bronze and stainless steel, might just be the best razors I've ever used.
I used my SS La Faulx for our whole Bali trip.... 3 weeks... I took a chance with my suitcase making it there and back home again.. no issues.... It's pretty expensive for a "travel razor", but I enjoyed all the shaves I had there, even with brushless shaving cream.

That's amazingly fast... Very cool.
Hopefully it will come in tact and undamaged.
Both of mine were packed incredibly well... not a scratch on either of them.
I worry about the guys in customs, not Durdan.
There is that... mine came through unopened, from the looks of the packages.
I do have two packages coming via FedEx... both of them held up in US Customs... Since I know there are issues, I do hope they get here unscathed.
Mine have all arrived in perfect shape and appear to have never been opened once packaged.

Yes. Generally always prefer Ti. But for WR4 I have only SS it's already very light.
La Faulx I bought SS head only first to see if medium plate is what I like. After 2 shaves ordered Ti whole razor.
