The Asagi was purchased as a Kyoto Shohomyama (but are they all
), barber hone. It’s hard and fine. Asking what I have in it $120 shipped CUSA.
The dark stone was purchased as Karasu. I actually believe the black stone is Otaniyama but don’t pretend to be an expert. When it’s dry you can see the crow pattern, when wet it’s jet black, the line is not toxic. It also hard and fine. Asking what I have in it $100 shipped CUSA.
Both stones & their Tomos have been lacquer sealed, lapped and edged chamfered.
