A few different blades getting their BESS scores done on that facebook page, pretty cool! No surprise at all to see the feather hit 35 - it's about the only DE blade I've heard of routinely getting 30s on a bess machine.
I was, however, surprised to see the Derby Extra get that mid 40s score, when the average for most DE blades is around 50. They can't be too dull...

Something is up with his equipment. A Gillette Platinum got a 21!
Whoa! I mean I love the plat, got hundreds, but they're not sharper than a feather, they just aren't.
Maybe the test medium was over-tightened or something?
