How do I use Kiss My Face shave cream?

I'm not sure if this helps, but I have a little bowl with enough water to wet the tips of my brush. I usually dip my brush between 4 and 6 times. That gives me a thick lather that would last 4 passes if I shabed that much. I also use a synthetic brush which doesn't need as much cream.

I am near the end of a 3017 with KMF. I'm using the pump bottle of patchouli. I tried to bowl lather but it was too foamy. I never reached the same consistency as face lathering. I apply the cream directly into the middle of the knot by gently spreading the hairs apart. I start with one squirt and add a little water by either dipping the tips or dripping from my fingers. This gives fine control of water addition. I usually only need the single pump for Plisson synthetic but use two for B&B Essential boar and three for the Simpsons Duke 3.
