Hey guys. I know this is a tech but not sure what type it is. Came across it in an antique shop. It's in too bad of a shape but might consider getting a different one. Does it shave Gillette a "post war tech"?

Post-War Black Fat Handle Tech. Get some Flitz polish and the head will shine up like a new penny. Enjoy!
I think that fat handle started its life as gold.

Just clean it up and shave with it. There's no problem with a little "character" on vintage items.
It should be a very fine shaver!!
That is a nice razor and should make a fine shaver. You can have it reconditioned or re-plated for not a lot of money.
I recommend against using Flitz on gold wash.
Flitz *will* shine it up like a new penny, but
it's supposed to shine up like a new Krugerand.
My experience is that Flitz eats gold wash.
