Good hair comb?

So other than aesthetics is there any differance between a $0.50 comb and a $50.00 comb? I have to say while not exactly an art piece my El Cheapo works well on my hair and being made out of plastic should last me a good 500 years or so.

I use Kent combs. The 82T specifically.

just bought two 5" BLK hard rubber combs NOS thought Id give one up @ my cost

I have to disagree. One key difference is that horn combs are practically static-free which is usually not the case with El Cheapos. Also the tips on a well made comb tend to be kinder to the scalp. Although, a nice comb usually doesn't have to cost more than $20.
