This an interesting idea. My R41 gets very little use because of how much it tugs. I also have an SLOC gathering dust somewhere. I'm going to have to try this. :)

Nothing wrong with a little mix and match as long as the blade doesn't smile and the parts fit together properly...
I've mixed several and they've always been acceptable at least (Fatip cap on Old type baseplate I really enjoyed).
