First restores, and a question.

They looked to have went well. The Ever Ready 150 (on the left) is with a 20mm X 60mm TGN finest badger knot, set at about 48mm loft, and I had to drill down through the floor, then fill it with wood chips and epoxy.

The Ever Ready 79 is with a 18mm X 62mm TGN finest badger, and set at about 45mm loft, and I didn't have to drill through the floor (that one's not glued in yet, but it's ready to go).

Now the question... Why the difference in the floor, since I set the 79 deeper? I've heard that they both are HOLLOW.

Guess you just need to work with what ya got and see what ya have!

Those both look very nice. That 18mm Finest is my favorite knot so far. That one has a great look above that old red.

Forgot to post the before picture.

Just set the knot in the 79...since they are both TGN finest it will be interesting to see how the different lofts perform.
