Pre Art of Shaving Unscented Oil + DR Harris Arlington shaving cream + Simpson Duke3 Best + Merkur Futur at 3 with Iridium Super + Thayers Lavender "alum" + Floid blue italian lotion with Welleda balm


First time in many months I had to shave with 2 days beard (yesterday we had a water cut and I couldn't shave me). It was a difficult shave because I have a really hard beard, although I used a new blade in a high dial Futur... The result: a few cuts solved with Thayers and alum. Next time I'll use Slant for these kind of shaves, becuase it shaves more easily.


And I have used this Arlington cream for the first time. It works well, although the scent is curious: citric but elegant. Very similar to 4711 cologne range IMHO, could make a good tandem instead of expensive Harris Arlington after shaves... I don't like specially this kind of scents, but I think is a good addition to summer shaves.
