Does Brush Choice Change For Cream Vs. Soap?

I use a Rooney 3/2 Silvertip and it does it all for me.
I've found that I need to do the 3 finger pinch for soaps, but once it's loaded up, it is pure luxury.
One brush can do it all, but when an AD comes knocking...well.....good luck! :thumbup1:

In other words, "there ain't no concensus".

Just do what feels best and works best for you.

Me, I hate boar brushes.

Definitely! While a lot of high-end brushes can do both, most mid-range brushes are one or the other. My Shavemac was murder on Castle Forbes but useless on Harris hard soaps. My basic breakdown is this: most brushes will work on creams and glycerin soaps pretty well, but if you really want to tear up some Harris or Trumper's hard soaps you need a real grinder.
