Common brimstone/Gonepteryx rhamni (In German Zitronenfalter, in French Citron de Provence). It bears a close resemblance to the North American yellow sulphur (Phoebis sennae), but they don't seem to be related.

These were taken with an iPad so don't expect much.
It's more what happened that's interesting. I saw a bumblebee on the ground and as I had my iPad I thought I'd take a picture of it.
After I took the picture it squirted something out the back and its sting was going in and out.
Do bees take a wizz or was that venom it squirted? I've never seen something like it before.

Flower crab spider with prey. These spiders can change color to better match the flower they are on, but they don't change very fast it can take a couple days to a couple weeks to complete the change. So the usually stick to the same flower as long as it lasts.

Awesome shots! I've caught glimpses of what I think were emperors judging from size and color, but never managed to even get one in the frame, let alone in focus. Never saw one land just zipping past. Great work!
