Could it be?

I posted a while back about a razor I found in an antique shop here in Boston.

It is a Widerstrahl made in Solingen. I could not find anything about this blade, but recently I was looking to buy a Le Grelot from classic shaving and stumbled upon this page:http://www.classicshaving.com/catalog/item/846013/6504037.htm?utm_source=gbase&utm_medium=CSC&utm_term=Select&utm_content=Select&utm_campaign=BROI&thissku=TI777dash777Grelot777dash777DI&site=google_base

At the bottom, it says "The "Le Grelot" blanks were created by a competitor of Thiers Issard which stopped producing straight razors in the early 1980's. The blanks were made for companies such as Jaguar razors, Zenit - Royal Canada and the Widerstrahl (for Solingen).

Thiers Issard acquired a limited volume of these finely crafted old blanks and created an elegant but simple straight edge razor continuing the tradition of Old World Craftmanship."

Now I, as did a few of you, knew that the Widerstrahl was a "good" razor. It quickly became my favorite and even after using the Dovo Special I just bought that was honed by Lynn, I still prefer my Widerstrahl. Could it be I have been shaving with a Le Grelot blank this whole time? If so, it makes the 35 bucks I spent for this and the vintage strop I got with it seem like the deal of my life.

Either way, I am saving for verified Le Grelot now, and it is certainly the razor I want next. I need to do a comparison.

Any thoughts on the likelihood of this, or any way I could help verify it?

It certainly doesn't resemble LeGrelot, but that doesn't mean it wasn't made by them.
I have the exact same razor along with quite few LeGrelots. Unfortunately I haven't gotten around to hone it yet, but I've been meaning to get to it for some time.
