What's new

Canadians on B&B, eh? Hoser.

I did not. I used to live in Springs, South Africa, and moved here in 1996.
I have been to Canmore though, and it is spectacular. My wife and I really love it there.

Euw!
A McLobster is not even close to a proper Lobster Roll.

Hm. One-quarter Canadian here (N.B.); unsure if that counts - *but* -

a cold lobster salad / Canadian Lobster Roll isn't in the same league as a Yankee/Southern New England Lobster Roll: that of lobster chunks in hot melted butter, thrown into a square-cut hotdog roll.

Trying to be polite, of course, and with 25% apologies, naturally.

Ha, the ol' "Mike from Canmore" bit. Next to everything the great Dave Broadfoot, about the only consistently funny thing from the old Air Farce radio show.
My niece got engaged last summer and she and her fiancé came "home" over Christmas. They were asked where the wedding is going to be. Canmore.
I nearly shot turkey gravy out my nose with laughter. Her fiancé is named Mike...

Welcome! There’s a good lot of canucks that are still around!

How about putting up some pics of where we’re from

Winnipeg.

Where I practice new fly lines and technique. Down the street from me.

These are all 2 minutes from my house, in the city. Home to one of N/A largest Urban forests, where I trail run daily.

I do a 4-5k loop on the side trails with the dog, about 4-5 days a week here after work or in the morning on weekends.

What Google shows the world, captured on Google Maps a few years ago. Yes, that is a passed out human in the back of the pickup. :facep:
