When I met up with Price I popped a tin of BBF from the late 90s. It looks more like FVF now. Enjoying some in the 2014 LE for celebration.
I don't recall my first tin of tobacco. I bought bulk for the longest time. I think it was either Esoterica And So To Bed or it was Deep Hollow. I was quite nervous at first because I thought "what happens if I open this up and it smells terrible?" Needless to say both of those are some of my all time favorite pipe tobaccos. My biggest nail bitter was when I finally secured a bag of Stonehaven and how excited and nervous I was about the aroma. Several pounds cellared later, it's my pinnacle pipe tobacco.
