A trainer with the Braves gave me enough samples of Biofreeze to last me years. I vastly prefer it to Bengay or Tiger Balm. It doesn't fix everything but it gives a bit of relief as you stubbornly put off surgery and resist the deadly lure of opioids.

As a therapist I prefer Biofreeze instead of bengay or icy hot. Cold is generally the preferred treatment for injury. This is a ymmv thing, but I have tried many with patients and get better results with Biofreeze.
I was going to recommend Absorbine horse linament. I love that stuff on my knees before I run or play any sport .
This was widely used on Sidelines and Training rooms across the South during the 1970s-80's . Atomic Balm never get it near mucus membranes or your eyes.

For me the Tiger balm works better than the three products OP mentioned. Never tried Atomic balm.
Atomic balm is the best of all of the products that you initially listed. Saved my life in football.
And now I realize that I responded to a thread that is four month old. Oops.
OTC isn't a product name. It is an acronym for "over the counter," meaning no prescription required.
