Looks like we have a winner, ladies and gents. The B&B cover just showed up, and the hobonichi fits fine. The cover itself is a bit bendy without the sturdy cover of the Franklin Christoph notebook, but if it comes to bother me, I might cut some chipboard inserts to stiffen it up. Forgive the poor lighting and orientation, just wanted to snap a couple quick pics for evidence.

Great thing about living an hour from WCS, one day shipping. It will be here tomorrow.
That actually looks quite handsome. Love the thickness of that cover.
It's doubled up on the edges where the cover slides in, but it is a lovely cover. Big fan of the elasticized Pen loop "lock" as well.

I actually like the pen loops on the A6 better than the A5. The loops are smaller so my pens fit better. I sometimes struggle to get my pen out of the larger cover since most of the pen gets covered by the loops and I kind of have to put my thumbnails under the end of the clip to push it out.
