Auto strop and Feather blades

I was on eBay the other day and I searched for Valet auto strops. I added one to my watch list but ended up not bidding on it because I want to know first what model uses the spineless feather blades?

Some of them didn't say what model they were so I ignored those. I might be wrong but is it the VC2 that uses the Feather blades?

You can slide one into a VB1/VC1. You can clip one into a VC3 or VC4. You can capture one in a VC2 (make sure the blade is the right way round).

I have heard of some variants of the VC2 that cannot accept a Feather and must use only a Valet, but I've yet to happen upon one and wonder whether folks didn't try just turning the blade around.

Ahh that's good news.

I will look for another one then. I've always wanted one ever since I knew about them.
