A shoutout to Mike R. (Lax1mxr)

Mods, this might belong in acquisitions, but it's more of shout out to Mike (lax1mxr)

Today, I received a number of razors back from Mike. The work ranged from complete restore to honing (more so the former than the latter). His work is fantastic, as are his prices and business ethics.

They include:
8/8 WB For Barbers Use, with original buffalo horns. (restoration)
7/8 WB restored with custom zircote scales
Gelle Freres quarter hollow restored with custom scales
Vintage Le Grelot with original celluloid scales polished and restored
WH Morley and Sons with original faux tortoise honed
Dorko with original scales, polished and restored
Wostenholm (French tip?) with faux ivory scales, restored completely

I think the pictures, however crappy my camera is, will speak for themselves. For a look at these and the others Mike has generously worked on, just check out the my Wiki

Nice! Great looking razors.

One note: I'm not sure if I'd call the faux frameback a 'spike' point. It looks more rounded with a barber's notch. Wrong pic maybe?

Mike has done three or four brush restorations for me and a couple straights as well. (And a butter scotch Rubber-Set handle is on its way to him right now.)

Always does a superb job and as stated above, an absolute gentleman to deal with.
