A pair of Mappin & Webb from Santa

I must have been very good this year. Santa left a pair of Mappin & Webb straights in my stocking. The blades are a matched set with one in original Ivory. They will need some gentle cleaning and polishing, but they will have a happy life.

I got a set of these waiting for me when I get home. Two of a seven day set with box. Needs a bit of repair but excited. I needed a set named after me... Webb. Hmm wonder if I'm related. Mine are 6/8. Woot!

Thanks gentleman, Santa, aka, SWMBO did a outstanding job. After the holidays when things quite down, I have a set of ivory scales in search of some steel. I will break down the black acrylic scales and see how they fit. Ebony is a thought, it could be a nite and day duo.
These are the scales i am thing about.

is one of my top 5 razors. Maybe top one actually.
