I'm thinking I'll get 5 months out of it...:/

I might be able to kill it quicker if I soak the puck prior to loading. Did that today and managed to load a lot more product. Shave was noticeably better than it was the past couple of weeks as well.

I don't know how @johnniegold did it in 3 months. I'm using monster brushes compared to the Eagle. I think I'm going to be using the WD 30mm boar/SV2.0 quite a bit in the next couple of months.

As an aside, anybody else having issues posting photos via tapatalk? I can't seem to upload photos anymore since it recently updated.

Congrats on finally finishing that massive tub! I have 4 more of the 8oz tubs in my den, and once they are gone, I'll be moving to the 2oz tubs. I really love CB and find all the shave phenomenal, but will very much appreciate the smaller size.

Where did you get that key for your tube of C.O Bigelow? That would be much nicer than just trying to squeeze every last bit out by hand like I do now :lol:

It's stolen lol. SWMBO is a hair stylist and she uses it to get all of the hair color out of the tubes. I'll probably be in trouble when she finds it

It took me a total of one control shave with AoS-t to uncover that QCS, while very good when lathered perfectly, is overall below par and will not be continued. I think I knew this going in but wanted to use it up and figured it would go fast.

With my very soft water I have a hard time loading a lot of soap without making a lot of airy lather and the fuss of trying to hydrate/bloom, swirl slowly during loading and add lots of water to facilitate loading more is tiring. This is not necessarily limited to QCS but definitely applies.

Moving on to something totally new to me:

This was an incredibly generous PIF from ... someone! I feel terrible, I usually make a note of all the PIFs I receive but this one slipped through the cracks. If it was you, PM me so I can make a note and thank you again.

At any rate, it's starting at 52g and I plan to use it as a stick initially so I can pass it back along if it doesn't work for me.

I do soak the puck prior to shaving.

Looking back at the 3 pucks of DR Harris I used during my journey :scooter: , it appears they all lasted approximately the same time:

Arlington - 63 days
Marlborough - 66 days
Lavender - 73 days

Very nice brush!

I'm already down 10 grams of La Toja over five shaves. Should be a quick go with the soap!

Also, the more I smell it, the more it smells exactly like Tabac without the powdery/flowery note.
