Rustic Mahogany today. 20 seconds to load the oscar11 HMW. Easy, thick, slick, lather. Personna 74 still cruising along. Excellent smooth, close, shave. I finished with CC Southern Oud.

This was my first use of this brush, freshly reknotted by Simpson in two-band silvertip. It's already one of my favorites !

This is bound to be a fascinating theme week as I’m sure we all have many ‘Favorite’ brushes. So today I am featuring my first ever custom brush from Rudy Vey; an AS3M handle shape about 60 mm long, set with a large Boar knot. It’s kind of like an upscale version of my Omega 49 Pro. It is one of my favorite boars and I'm always pleased when it comes up in the rotation.
