Hi everyone,
I just completed my first DE wet shave last night, I had quite a lot of growth (7+ days) and my tools were:
1. Merkur 23c with merkur blade
2. Body shop maca root shave cream
3. Osma alum bloc
4. Maca root razor relief
5. Man cave face wash
5. Omega synthetic brush
my routine went like this.
1. Wet face with hot water
2. Man cave face wash and rinse
3. Pat face down
4. Lather up shave cream. Don't think I did this right first off!
5. First pass WTG, short passes due to the amount of hair there was.
6. Wash face with warm water after first run, re-lather.
7. Another pass WTG, this felt much smoother and I think I got a better lather this time.
8. After covering all of my face, and with no cuts I washed with cold water then hit with alum bloc - this really stung!
9. Left the alum on for about 1 minute while tidying up. Then washed it off.
10. Applied maca root razor relief. This felt some what smoothing but also a bit tingly.
Now, the the reason for starting this thread is that when I woke up this morning I saw about 4-5 small whiteheads scattered around my face
This is where I should add that I have not shaved for about 3 years, and have just been using a babyliss stubble trimmer all this time.
Could these whiteheads just be a result of not having stuck a razor to my face for so long?
Thanks.
