Joe, I love that Greaves!

It is a meat cleaver that's for sure. But, as with most every razor I use, I will probably be parting with it soon.

BBS all tha way !!
For Real
Got this one in the mail this AM and
had to try her out, I have determined
that it's easier to get a BBS shave for
me with 2 to 3 passes with an SE Razor
than with my Straights. Now don't get
me wrong, I can achieve a DFS every
time my straights, just takes more effort
to get a BBS shave with a straight than
with an SE Razor. Now I don't look to achieve
a BBS Shave every time I shave, just a
close, comfortable non irritating shave in
the morning is what I'm lookin for. But
these SE Razors I've been using lately
give a BBS Shave with no effort, except
for bring careful, as with any razor, at all !!!
wish my Straights were this easy.

Toner: Thayer's Witch Hazel (Rose Petal, no alcohol)
Moisturizer: Trumper's Fragrance-free Moisturizer
After Shave Splash: Floïd Italian Blue
After Shave Balm: eShave "Almond" AS Balm
Results: This Böker hadn't seen much action lately (too many Maxterpieces to go through

), so today was her moment to come out and shine. And shine, she did

. A MARVELOUS shave

. Da Fat and Godrej were a heavenly mix to lather with and the Böker was an amazing steel to wipe the "Easter" whiskers with. Fantastically BBS and super smooth

. I loved this shave and so did my wife (she's my litmus test).

SHAVE OIL: Blend of Baby Oil w/ Menthol
SHAVE SOAP: Edwin Jagger Sandalwood - Lathered in a warmed glass bowl
BRUSH: Tweezerman Badger
RAZOR: EJ-DE89L
BLADE: Shark (4th Day - she is done)
A/S: Brut Original

RESULT: 3 full passes w/ little follow-up. Decent shave - but definitely time to load a new one.

This is a little bit of a fudge since I didn't actually shave with this setup, but I really wanted to share with you fine gentlemen. My Le Grelot Hospital arrived in the mail today! While it's still covered in oil and not shave ready, I couldn't resist taking a picture to show it off.
