Interesting.
I've seen a DCosmetics razor around here that is a WR2 clone also. It seems that there are some examples of very well made Chinese machining.

I bought the Dscosmetic WR2 clone gap 1.55 but when I loaded it with a blade I couldn't remove as it got stuck in the base plate. I actually needed needle nose pliers to remove it safely. I sent it back via Aliexpress for a refund. This Boti clone is much better with no blade issues.

I think it's great that there are enough people with so much disposable income available to support such an expensive item. I cannot even imagine paying half what they are listed for to hold a razor blade that cost approximately 10 cents. This just seems insane, but to each their own. Happy to stick with my vintage Gillette's.

So the old price for my Wr2 and WR1 (head+handle / both purchased in 2020) was 400 CAD, or just under $300 USD.

I think there was an increase in between 2020 and this one though right?

The WR2 clone in polished is in stock. Go to their website click on titanium series. the first one says DE polished that is the one. It cost $65 includes shipping with no tax. You can also look at another drop down for a polished handle also $65 but I am using the Timeless titanium. 1.15 gap and exposure .15 . Usually takes about 10-12 days to deliver.

Thanks for that! Guessing they only do this clone in Ti? Not really a fan of anything Ti. I'll probably be getting rid of some Titanium razors I've bought over the years. I prefer brass/bronze, copper, and SS

Was that DSC the stainless or titanium version?

For those interested, the Boti web site seems to be out of stock on the 1.55 Ti DE but AliX has them at a price of 52 USD for the Fall Sale. Just search for "Boti titanium razor".

With regards to Wolfman pricing, I am currently on the list for a wr2 ti 1.25 gap. If I were invoiced today, the price would only be $17 more than I paid for my wr2 1.05 Ti in January. At that time the Canadian dollar was at a yearly high against the USD, so it's luck of the draw with the exchange rate when the invoice drops.

It called not being able to Pull Trigger, it is common in many worlds, know Cops who were in life and death moment. Had it not been for partner, pulling trigger, stopping threat, the Cops would be dead.

Same. Ive turned down the chance to buy twice in the last year. I don't need another razor. But the big gap WR1 is special. Not sure what I'll do this time. My name has been on the list again for four months.

Your note about having sold some off is interesting because it goes to something that popped into my head when I saw the announcement about the price increase, and that being how is this going to impact what people try to resell their Wolfie's for.
And sure enough, I've already seen several listings for used Wolfie's referencing the updated pricing for new razors (as "justification" for what their listing price is). Meaning that people are already taking this as an opportunity to try to resell their razors for more than they would have before the announcement was made.
