Which Razorock stainless steel razor would you say is closest to the King C. Gillette?

Well, as the title states, in your opinion, which stainless steel offering from Razorock is most similar to the King C. Gillette? Thanks

The King C. Gillette is about as mild as it gets. I haven’t tried the RazoRock Mamba but it’s supposed to be on the mild side. I’d also recommend looking into the Game Changer 68. I love the Lupo but wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for something similar to the KCG, even the 58 gap version might be a little much.

Take a walk on the wild side. The GC84-P is one of the best Daily Driver razors out there.

Let me second @JL 52 's recommendation. My King C. Gillette (KCG) is very mild yet has a great architecture that allows BBS shaves. Per Italian Barber the Mamba 53 is their mildest razor so it's most likely to be similar to the KCG. Link to their razor aggressiveness scale pasted below.

Any reason not to just get the KCG? It's less then half the price of the Mamba 53 though the latter is made with stainless steel.

Edit: P.S. The second mildest RR Razor, per Italian Barber is their Tech II for under $10. Realize this is a completely different type of razor than the KCG or Mamba 53.

If you would consider a machined aluminum razor, Razorock has just come out with a new design (shipping the end of this week):

(Note -- the prices in Canadian dollars are about 30% higher than prices in $US -- they're $40 US, each.)

I have a cousin -- the Lupo Aluminum -- and the machining is very good.

They're not S/S, but they don't know that when they're slicing beard hairs.

My guess would be the MJ90
Doesn’t the MJ90 have an aluminum head?

Anyways the Game Changer and Lupo in their lower gaps are extremely mild. I hoped on the Game Changer the minute the first version was released, and the lower gaps were nowhere near efficient enough to provide a sufficient shave result. It’s wasn’t until the 84p came out that I was able to get a satisfying shave. That is a great razor. I had the same experience with the Lupo where it took me up to the Lupo 95 before I could get the results I need. Again great razor. But a bit more blade feel than the GC84p. The GC84p is as smooth as can be. Dont fear the larger gap numbers in those razors.

I have both the Game Changer .68 and the Lupo 72 among many other razors. However, I've settled on the Game changer .68 open comb over all my other razors.
