What's new

What's your favorite hoodie?

I'm 79 and have never had one. If needing protection I wear a hat or a insulated cap and scarf along with a coat with a large collar. Honestly it has gotten to the point where the winters here in E Texas are so warm, right now it's 74 degrees, so shorts and a polo shirt. Most cooler to moderately cold days I wear a Filson wool vest, long sleeve shirt and a hat. Those vests breathe, but are thick enough to break the wind I do have one of their heavier coats that I have had for a long time but it rarely gets used,

I am not a person who really pays attention to the clothes i buy. Does it fit? Can i afford it? Does bright red go with military green? Ok, who cares... hahaha...

I am a sweatshirt hoodie(sp?) liker. The 6 or 7 i used to have can kind of confirm it. No zippers or buttons and a hood and large front pocket is the kind i like and prefer.

Currently i needed and bought 2 different ones. 1 is a fuzz filled, full zipper sweatshirt with a hood and 2 pockets and is blue with white fuzzies on the inside. Nice if i go out of their house to throw out trash or go to their mailbox. The other is a hoodie which is a medium (to me) thickness, hood, big front pocket and is a medium gray color. Good for cooler weather but not freezing weather.

Both were found and bought at a flea market and keep me warm inside my brother's cold house. They dont like hot temperatures, 80⁰ is hot for them and other than the room i sleep in, the electric heater is on and where ice might form and break or clog water pipes, thankfully a pellet heater in their dining room/ kitchen area is used all day and night when the temps are under 60⁰ so eating isn't something i need to bring upstairs in my sleeping room like nearly everything else i want or need to do this time of year...
