1 thing in general, is my preference for milder razors after 4 years of classical wet shaving. And the fact that I bought 2 of them again this year, after having sold them earlier on..... this is one of them
If you like the Mach 3, you might like the Defender (defenderrazor.com). I use it as my travel razor (if I am not checking baggage) and prefer it to Gillette's offerings.Mach 3. New handle looks better and is thinner so it, uh, handles better.
(Cowers to dodge slings and arrows ...... )
I've never had much interest in adjustable razors, barring the Gibbs; but as blades needed modifying for them, I just satisfied myself by looking at the photos.
... Then up popped OliWorks' OliBlade (a Gibbs clone that takes modern DE blades) at a very reasonable price. I liked the look of it, so I purchased it out of pure curiosity.
Wow! What a fabulous and fun razor:

It immediately replaced my Blackland Blackbird OC (which was my Grail Razor).
