The @MaineYooper strikes again! I am extremely happy and looking forward to tomorrow’s shave. Thanks to the kindness and generousity of Eric I was able to get my hands on Canada Shaving Soap which is very hard to get (over to) here.
And Eric decided to throw in some extra’s! So after Decemboar also looking very much forward to using these not one, not two, not three, but four
brushes in January!

Soooo I decided that with all the tariff talks going on and 100% tariffs being tossed around I would get anything I really wanted from overseas before January 20th (that's my story and I am sticking to it). This is the first to arrive, I shouldn't have but I fell in love with it when it first came out.

More Black Friday loot. 
Yesterday received my first Gillette Adjustable (slim, i.e.). I like everything about this razor so far: weight, mechanism, appearance — what's more important, the condition. It's perfect, I'd say it's a new one (it came with a case and original blades there). Tomorrow I'll ride it and see what is it.

and, in keeping with my newfound obsession with Moon Soaps:
One thing I will say about Moon is that their splashes are next level. not only do they feel amazing, but they take the scent to the next level. They all smell great off the puck and while shaving, but the splashes really expand on the scent profile if you will. For example, the splash for Havana just adds this amazing, rich, spiciness that you don't really get during the shave.
and they sent me a sample for Bixby, which I almost blind bought this order. needless to say it will be acquired in 2025.

3D Printed Shaving bowl & a tub of Razorock Black Bay Shaving Cream Soap
Got this larger shaving bowl for my 28mm Silvertip badger brush. Hopefully I won't have the same issue I have with my smaller scuttle and bowl with lather all over the place when using this brush. The bowl seems to be quite well made. I don't see any sharp or uneven ridges and edges. Diameter is 15.5 cm or 6.1 inches. Paid USD 5 for it.
I packed the RR Black Bay soap into my order, since I had to pay for shipping anyway. This soap looks like Pesto, smells like Pesto...hopefully it doesn't lather like Pesto. Not that I ever lathered or attempted to shave with Pesto.
I have a tub of that as well. It does look like pesto that someone used whole peppercorns in and they didn’t get completely ground up. Though I don’t get a pesto scent. It’s definitely bat to my nose

I have more vintage Tabac soap, aftershave and cologne than I could ever use but my eye was caught by this as it has the nicest condition box I have ever seen. Interestingly the 'For Duty Free Sales Only' text is printed onto the box itself, it is not a label applied to the box post production. This is an unused 175ml (5 7/8floz) bottle of Tabac Eau De Cologne and this particular box and dot bottle combination dates this to between 1969 and 1980. For those who are interested, this is the second iteration of the Tabac bottle and packaging styles as shown below:

I once had it and used it a long time ago, but Black Friday encouraged me to get it again. And the razor stand was made by a friend from a Polish forum.
